Patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma should pay attention to:

1. Eat more foods that have anti-nasopharyngeal cancer effects, such as large-leaf vegetables, taro, konjac, cucumber, dandelion, kiwi, toad, frog, pupae, snake meat, and light vegetables. Foods that protect against the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy: figs, eggplant, walnuts, mung beans, red beans, sunflower seeds, rapeseed, persimmon, black plum, watermelon, cucumber, pumpkin, asparagus, lemon, jujube, loach, crab, crab, chicken blood, yellow catfish, eel, shark, herring, horseshoe crab, jellyfish, pig brain, sheep brain, duck blood, goose blood, mackerel, and sea cucumber.

Smoking and drinking are prohibited, and irritation of the oral and nasal mucosa is avoided. After radiotherapy, the diet is tasteless or has a smell and oral mucosal reaction.
