What are the symptoms of stomach discomfort in patients with advanced gastric cancer

Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor of the gastric mucosal epithelium. The incidence of gastric cancer is getting higher and higher, and it should be taken seriously. Generally speaking, gastric cancer is related to genetic factors, Helicobacter pylori infection, poor living habits, and poor eating habits. Correct treatment should be used in the early stage of gastric cancer. When it develops to the late stage, it is very harmful to health. Let's take a look at the symptoms of stomach discomfort in patients with advanced gastric cancer.

1. Persistent pain:

Symptoms of upper abdominal pain are common in advanced gastric cancer. As the disease progresses, burning pain, swelling pain, hidden pain, etc. may occur. If gastric cancer causes gastric perforation, it can also cause severe abdominal pain symptoms, and symptomatic treatment is required to relieve the pain symptoms.

2. Nausea and vomiting:

In the advanced stage of gastric cancer, the appetite will decrease, and there will be irregular burping, acid reflux, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. During the progression of gastric cancer, the incidence of these symptoms is relatively high.

3. Vomiting blood and black stools:

Some patients with advanced gastric cancer may also have long-term symptoms of black stools, which are tar-colored stools. There may also be blood or large amounts of blood in the vomitus.

4. Difficulty in swallowing or obstruction:

As gastric cancer progresses, the tumor will continue to grow, the entrance to the stomach will narrow, and the lower part of the esophagus will be affected. At this time, symptoms such as difficulty swallowing or food regurgitation will occur.

5. Malnutrition:

Because patients with advanced gastric cancer have obvious symptoms of stomach discomfort and poor appetite, they will experience progressive malnutrition, significant weight loss in a short period of time, accompanied by edema, anemia and other symptoms.

Gastric cancer should be treated promptly after it is discovered. Surgical treatment can be used, including endoscopic treatment, surgical treatment, laparoscopic surgery, etc. The specific method to be chosen depends on the actual situation of the body.
