How to treat ovarian tumors

Patients with ovarian tumors need to undergo B-ultrasound examinations to determine their size, number, and growth rate, whether there are compression symptoms and systemic symptoms on surrounding tissues, and to choose the appropriate treatment plan. However, if the ovarian tumor is large, such as a maximum diameter greater than 5cm, or there are symptoms of tissue compression, or pedicle torsion, and the growth rate is fast, surgery should be considered. If the ovarian tumor is small, single, grows slowly, the body is healthy, and there are no compression symptoms, dynamic review or appropriate medication can be performed. Postoperative pathological examination can determine the benign or malignant nature of the ovarian tumor and further treatment.
