What are the symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and how to treat it

What are the symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer? How to treat it?

1. The main symptom of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is nasal bleeding. Nasal bleeding is the most common symptom of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Most patients suffer from nasal bleeding. Retractile bloody mucus often occurs in the morning after getting up, when bloody mucus comes out of the mouth. The amount of blood is not large, and it is often neglected by patients, or they are treated as hemoptysis and go to the internal medicine or pulmonary department for treatment. Because the blood vessels of the tumor in the nasopharyngeal cavity are relatively fragile, and the surface of the tumor is often not covered by mucosa, it is easy to have bloody mucus symptoms.

2. There are other symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, such as tinnitus, hearing loss, and headache. Patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma will also experience more obvious hearing loss, which can be used as a diagnostic criterion. When nasopharyngeal carcinoma occurs in the lateral wall of the nasopharynx, the lateral fossa, or the upper lip of the Eustachian tube opening, the tumor compresses the Eustachian tube, which may cause unilateral tinnitus or hearing loss, and catarrhal otitis media. Headaches are often unilateral migraines, located in the frontal, temporal, or occipital regions. Mild headaches do not require treatment, while severe ones require painkillers or even pain injections. There are many causes of headaches, but damage to cranial nerves or destruction of the skull base is often one of the causes of headaches.

3. Traditional Chinese medicine can make up for the deficiencies of surgical treatment, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. It can not only consolidate the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but also eliminate the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. More importantly, it can cut off the replication function of cancer cells, that is, cut off the important division method of cancer cells-microtubule protein synthesis, so that the cell volume gradually shrinks, and stable anti-cancer cells are formed in the blood vessels, thereby improving the body's metabolic function, that is: by inhibiting the respiration of cancer cells, causing ischemia and hypoxia of cancer cells, and no longer fissioning, thereby achieving the purpose of curing cancer.
