What causes lung cancer

What causes lung cancer?

Lung cancer is a relatively serious disease, and its occurrence is mostly related to daily life, such as long-term smoking, occupational factors, air pollution, etc. After lung cancer occurs, you need to go to the hospital for surgery or radiotherapy and chemotherapy in time. Do not delay the time to avoid more serious symptoms, endangering life and health, and causing irreparable damage.

1. Long-term smoking: Cigarettes contain nicotine. If a large amount of this substance is inhaled, it is easy to affect the function of the lungs. If it continues for a long time, it will cause pneumonia, pulmonary edema and other diseases. In severe cases, it may directly induce lung cancer, which will cause great harm to your health. Studies have found that 80% of lung cancer patients have a history of smoking.

2. Occupational factors: If there are many carcinogens in the working environment, such as asbestos, arsenic, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc., long-term exposure to or inhalation of these substances may cause genetic changes in the body, thereby causing lesions in the body's internal organs and inducing the occurrence of lung cancer.

3. Air pollution: Industrial waste gas and automobile exhaust in cities contain carcinogens. Passive smoking, fuel combustion, and cooking fumes in indoor areas can also produce carcinogens. Living in such an environment for a long time will easily affect your health and increase the incidence of lung cancer.

Lung cancer is very harmful to human health, so you must go to the hospital for treatment in time after it occurs. At the same time, you should do a good job of nursing in all aspects in your daily life, pay attention to personal hygiene, eat scientifically and reasonably, and develop good living habits.
