Will nasopharyngeal cancer cause cervical pain?

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a malignant tumor of the nasopharynx. If the patient has cervical metastasis, there may be cervical pain. It is recommended to understand the situation through bone scanning and imaging examinations. After diagnosis, local radiotherapy can be used to relieve symptoms and cause pain in the back of the neck. It may be pain caused by local lymph node metastasis, pain caused by cervical metastasis caused by nasopharyngeal carcinoma, or related pain caused by the primary lesion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Most nasopharyngeal carcinomas do not cause cervical pain.

How to treat benign nasopharyngeal cancer?

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is not benign. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a malignant tumor of the nasopharynx. Since nasopharyngeal carcinoma is very sensitive to radiotherapy, radiotherapy is the first choice. If it is in the early stage of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, radiotherapy is often used. For the middle and late stages of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a combination of radiotherapy and combined chemotherapy is often used. If an adult suffers from nasopharyngeal mucosal hyperplasia for a long time, whether it is hyperplasia or adenoid hypertrophy, if there are no obvious symptoms of discomfort, it cannot be treated; nasopharyngeal tumors are divided into benign tumors and malignant tumors.

What are the symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma metastasizing to the cervical spine?

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma often metastasizes to the cervical lymph nodes. Local enlarged lymph nodes may compress local tissues and blood vessels. Lymphatic vessels can cause neck edema. Compression and invasion of nerves can cause pain and facial paralysis. In addition to the symptoms of the primary tumor, such as blood circulation, tinnitus, abnormal vision, cervical pain and discomfort, etc., metastasis is generally in the late stage. It is recommended to actively cooperate with radiotherapy and chemotherapy to relieve symptoms. The first symptom of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is mainly local invasion.
