Precursors of breast cancer brain metastasis

Premonitions of breast cancer brain metastasis:

Breast cancer brain metastasis usually has no obvious precursors. After brain metastasis occurs, patients may experience a series of clinical symptoms of brain tissue damage or irritation, and the specific symptoms vary.

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the breast. During its development, lymph node metastasis is likely to occur, and it is also easy to enter the blood vessels and reach distant organs such as brain tissue, lungs, liver, and bones along the blood flow to form metastatic lesions.

Brain metastasis of breast cancer is a late stage of breast cancer. After brain metastasis occurs, due to the destruction and compression of brain tissue by cancer cells, patients may experience symptoms such as headache and dizziness, accompanied by nausea and vomiting, which is usually a type of projectile vomiting.

Patients may experience blurred vision, blackouts, and fainting. As the disease progresses, they may develop disturbances of consciousness such as drowsiness, lethargy, light coma, deep coma, and may also experience disturbances of consciousness such as agitation and dysentery.

If the brain metastasis is compressed to the center related to movement, the corresponding limbs will experience motor weakness or even paralysis. When the lesion is compressed to the center related to sensation, the corresponding limbs may experience sensory loss, or fecal or urinary incontinence.

If the center associated with language is compressed, the patient may become aphasic. When the brain metastasis compresses the center associated with vision, the patient may suffer from insomnia.

For breast cancer brain metastasis, active treatment is necessary to control the development of brain metastasis lesions and improve the patient's quality of life.
