How long can you live with brain cancer chemotherapy

Malignant tumors generally cannot be completely removed, are insensitive to postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy, have poor treatment effects, are prone to recurrence, have poor prognosis, and have a relatively low five-year survival rate. Clinically, brain cancer refers to glioma, a highly invasive tumor. Radiotherapy is a common method for treating advanced malignant brain tumors. After anticancer cell treatment, the average patient's life expectancy is generally around 5 years. If cancer cells spread throughout the body, they may last about a year.

Can advanced brain cancer patients feel urination?

Late-stage intracranial malignant tumors often lead to severe intracranial pressure increase, resulting in impaired consciousness, hemiplegia, aphasia and even coma. Some patients will have their bowel function affected, leading to incontinence and inability to feel bowel movements. Since the brain tumor compresses the corresponding functional area and cannot urinate independently, catheterization can only be retained at present. Early brain tumors will not cause urination difficulties.

Why don't brain tumor patients have headaches?

It is unlikely that patients with brain tumors will be cured, and their symptoms will not be alleviated. The relief of headaches may be a slow increase in intracranial pressure in the short term. Symptomatic treatment with intravenous drip intracranial pressure drugs such as mannitol injection can be considered. Brain tumor patients do not necessarily have symptoms of headaches. This is because the location of the mass is different, the nature is different, and the degree of invasion is different, so everyone's performance is different. As long as they do not compress the nerves, there will be no symptoms of brain pain, but once the nerves are compressed, various mental symptoms will appear. In this case, you can consider pain.
