Things to note after eye bag removal

Many people tend to have sagging eye bags after staying up late, especially after getting older, because the skin becomes looser, the eye bags will become larger and larger, which affects the appearance, especially for female friends. Most women love beauty, so many women will go to beauty hospitals for eye bag removal surgery. So what are the precautions after eye bag removal?

Things to note after eye bag surgery:

1. After the eye bag surgery, there is still some anesthetic under the skin. There will be some swelling and you may feel soreness in the eyes. These are all normal phenomena and will generally return to normal after two hours. It is appropriate to apply ice compress, which will have a better effect in reducing swelling and can also effectively prevent the formation of blood stasis. You can also take oral medication to prevent blood stasis and swelling.

2. Try to lie down and rest on the day after eye bag removal surgery. You can raise your head appropriately to help reduce eye swelling. Apply ice and appropriate pressure as much as possible within 48 hours, generally 15 minutes is appropriate, 4-5 times a day. After eye bag removal surgery, there will be a lot of eye secretions. You can use chloramphenicol eye drops three times a day, 2-3 drops each time to clean the eyes, which is conducive to recovery.

3. Avoid eating seafood, eggs, beef, mutton and spicy foods after the operation. Try to avoid raw onions, ginger and garlic. A reasonable diet and appropriate protein supplementation are beneficial to wound recovery. Eat some fruits to supplement vitamins.

4. Avoid strenuous exercise. Because eye bags are soft tissue, the accelerated blood circulation after exercise can easily cause congestion, hematoma, and retrobulbar hemorrhage in the eyes. In addition to not being able to exercise, you should also avoid lifting heavy objects, walk normally, and squat with small movements and as slowly as possible. Never take aspirin-type anticoagulant drugs after surgery, as this can also cause congestion under the eyes.

5. In addition, you can apply appropriate hot compress 48 hours after the eye bag removal surgery. Promote blood circulation around the eyes, disperse blood stasis, and help reduce swelling of eye bags. Mood is also very important during the recovery process. Maintain a good attitude and don’t worry about swelling during the recovery period. Generally, you can return to normal after a week.
