Reasons for high uric acid in teenagers

In life, there are still many teenagers who suffer from high uric acid. In fact, for teenagers, this phenomenon of high uric acid can be adjusted quickly, because some teenagers do not like to drink water or eat vegetables. As long as they drink more water and eat more fruits and vegetables during their diet, uric acid can be adjusted, and they should eat less high-sugar foods. So what is the cause of high uric acid in teenagers?

Causes of high uric acid:

1. Inhibition of renal tubular secretion: one of the most important mechanisms. Inhibition of uric acid excretion and/or increased reabsorption due to drugs, intoxication, or endogenous metabolites. This occurs when anion transport systems are inhibited, two important inhibitors of which are lactate and keto acids.

2. Reduced glomerular filtration: It can also increase uric acid levels. One of the mechanisms is reduced filtration rate, which is the main cause of hyperuricemia in renal insufficiency or failure. Increased net uric acid reabsorption can occur in the setting of volume depletion and is one of the mechanisms by which diuretics may induce hyperuricemia.

3. Increased tubular reabsorption: Hyperuricemia can also be caused by enhanced reabsorption distal to the secretion site. These may occur with dehydration or diuretic therapy in patients with diabetes.

Usually pay attention to:

1. Develop the habit of soaking your feet in hot water every day or frequently. It is best to use an automatically heated footbath. Soak your feet for no less than 20 minutes and no more than 30 minutes each time. It is best if you can wash until your whole body sweats slightly. When washing your feet, you can add some Chinese medicine that can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.

2. Combine work and rest, pay attention to sleep, do not stay up late, relax your mind, and face things optimistically. Check your uric acid level every six months and try to keep it around 350. This way gout will not cause damage to any joints.

3. Eat more vegetables and drink more water.
