What is lymphoma

What is lymphoma

Lymphoma is a malignant tumor originating from the lymphatic hematopoietic system. Its main manifestations are painless lymph node enlargement and hepatosplenomegaly. All tissues and organs in the body may be affected, accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever, night sweats, weight loss, and itching.

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is divided into two categories according to cancer cells: non-Hodgkin's lymphoma NHL and Hodgkin's lymphoma HL. The pathological characteristics of Hodgkin's lymphoma are that the tumor tissue contains lymphocytes, eosinophils, plasma cells and specific Reed-Steinberg cells. According to the pathological type, HL can be divided into nodular lymphocytic type and classical type, including lymphocytic type, nodular sclerosis type, mixed type and lymphocytopenia type.

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are good methods for treating lymphoma. International and domestic studies have shown that after radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the patient's clinical efficacy, disease-free survival time, and overall survival are significantly prolonged, making it possible to cure lymphoma. However, radiotherapy and chemotherapy also bring toxic side effects, which may cause nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and hair loss. Therefore, radiotherapy and chemotherapy must be assisted by selenium, and selenium and selenium malt are more effective. For example, supplementing with constant selenium and chewing selenium malt can alleviate the toxic side effects during radiotherapy and chemotherapy, allowing radiotherapy and chemotherapy to proceed smoothly and improve the treatment effect.
