How many times a month should liver cancer undergo chemotherapy?

Primary liver cancer can be divided into hepatocellular carcinoma and hepatocholangiocarcinoma. The FOLFOX program requires chemotherapy about twice a month.

If the patient's targeted therapy and interventional therapy are not effective, a reasonable chemotherapy and immunotherapy plan can be selected according to the patient's physical condition to maximize the control of the disease development.

During CT scanning, slightly low or equal density nodules reappear, and during enhanced scanning in the arterial phase, there is obvious uniform enhancement. It can be seen that the pregnancy ring sign is the manifestation of the pseudocapsule of liver cancer. During the portal venous phase, the enhancement subsides, showing an uneven low-density shadow, that is, a sign of fast in and fast out, and the density of the delayed phase.

In some small liver cancers, tumor thrombi can be seen in the blood vessels under the microscope, and some are accompanied by distant metastasis. Liver CT with enhanced liver cancer mainly shows a fast-in-fast-out enhancement method, that is, the liver tumor is enhanced uniformly or unevenly in the arterial phase, and the liver tumor is enhanced lower than the liver parenchyma in the portal venous phase and/or equilibrium phase. Upper abdominal enhanced CT examination is an important means of diagnosing liver cancer.
