Rectal cancer is very harmful, and patients should receive timely and active treatment. Currently, there are many treatments for rectal cancer, and there are three main types of surgical treatments for rectal cancer.

The second is local excision under anal endoscopy. It is a new method of local excision of rectal cancer in recent years. The surgical indications are patients with T1N0M0 rectal cancer local excision. The treatment of rectal cancer is through anoscopy, which is similar to surgical laparoscopy to examine local rectal tumors and perform local dilatation excision.

The third is the treatment of rectal cancer such as anterior rectal resection, which is mainly suitable for the upper rectum more than 12 cm from the anal edge. The tumor is in the abdominal cavity, and the sigmoid colon and rectum are removed. Its advantages are less traumatic, anal preservation, good function and ideal effect. This method is not suitable for rectal cancer patients with large cancer volume and wide penetration of surrounding tissues. Clinically, it is also called low abdominal resection and extraperitoneal primary anastomosis.
