Rectal cancer symptoms

Rectal cancer symptoms

Rectal cancer symptoms:

Symptoms of colorectal cancer generally include long-term constipation, changes in bowel habits, and abdominal pain.

Rectal cancer generally refers to a malignant tumor arising from the epithelial cells of the rectal mucosa.

1. Long-term constipation:

Long-term constipation can also cause stool to stay in the body, leading to higher and higher concentrations of carcinogens. If the colon wall is in contact with these carcinogens for a long time, it will gradually turn into rectal cancer or colon cancer.

2. Change bowel habits:

If your stool is usually dry but suddenly becomes very thin, or if your stool changes from very thin to very dry, and your bowel habits are also abnormal, from once a day to two or three times a day, you should pay attention.

3. Abdominal pain:

20% of patients with rectal cancer will experience abdominal pain in the early stages. This is because the upper part of the rectum becomes narrower and the intestines become obstructed, leading to paroxysmal abdominal pain, accompanied by abdominal pain and bowel sounds. These conditions can only be relieved or disappear after defecation.

In addition to the relatively common symptoms mentioned above, there are also bloody stools. If you have any symptoms of physical discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment in time.
