Will babies get fibroids? Revealing the reasons why babies get fibroids

Fibromas are a type of skin tumor, which is caused by the proliferation of fibrous connective tissue. The disease can occur in all populations, so infants can also get it. The lesion is located on the patient's skin, causing a red, hard lump to appear on the patient's skin surface. The contents of the lump will vary depending on the location. The following mainly introduces infantile fibromas.

The symptoms of infantile fibroids are different from those of other age groups. Infant fibroids are located in deep tissues and often appear in some organs. This type of fibroid grows slowly and does not cause obvious symptoms. However, infantile fibroids need to be biopsied early to determine whether they have worsened. There are two main causes of infantile fibroids:

1. Genetics

Fibroids caused by this cause are the easiest to detect. Although the lesions are located far away, adults pay great attention to newborns and will check for genetic diseases in infants. The skin symptoms of adult fibroids are very obvious and easy to observe. Generally, if the parents of an infant have fibroids, they may be passed on to the infant. Infant fibroids caused by this cause are the most common.

2. Abnormal hormone levels

The physique of infants is different from that of adults. Even a slight change can lead to big problems. If there is a problem with the hormone level of infants, the hormones will act in the infant's body and promote metabolism, which will lead to the proliferation of some cells or tissues, and then cause fibroids. The abnormal hormone level of infants may be caused by the influence of estrogen, so some mothers are asked not to take medication during breastfeeding.

The above two points are the causes of infantile fibroids. It should be noted that infants have special constitutions and may have the possibility of tumor malignant transformation, so the earlier the elimination, the greater the benefit to the infant. Once a fibroid is found in an infant, a complete surgical removal of the affected area and appropriate removal of the connected tissues should be performed in a timely manner. If the fibroid has not turned malignant, it can be completely cured.
