Liver cancer warning signs: If these 3 abnormalities appear in the head, doctors remind you to be highly vigilant!

The liver is known as the "silent organ" because it works inside the body and often does not show obvious symptoms in the early stages of disease. However, when we notice some abnormal changes in the head, it may be related to liver health and deserves our high attention.

The following three abnormal head signals may indicate potential liver cancer risk:

1. Continuous headaches: Long-term, severe headaches without obvious causes, especially pain in the right upper abdomen or the entire head, may be related to liver disease, including liver cancer. Liver cancer patients often have pain in the liver area because the growth of the tumor will compress the nerves and cause neuralgia. If the headache is accompanied by jaundice, fatigue and other symptoms, it is even more necessary to see a doctor.

2. Hair loss or abnormal hair: Although hair loss is not a direct symptom of liver cancer, abnormal liver function may affect the body's absorption and utilization of nutrients, causing hair to be fragile, easy to break or fall out. In addition, liver disease may cause hormone imbalance and affect hair growth. If you find that your hair has decreased significantly, you should consider whether it is related to liver health.

3. Lumps or skin changes: Painless lumps or skin discoloration or itching on the head, especially on the earlobes, cheeks, or neck may be a sign of liver metastasis. Liver cancer cells may spread to other parts of the body through the lymphatic system, forming distant lumps. If accompanied by weight loss, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc., you should seek medical attention immediately.

Although these head abnormalities do not necessarily mean liver cancer, they may be early signs of liver problems. If you notice any of the above symptoms, you should go to the hospital for a check-up as soon as possible so that potential liver disease can be detected and treated early. Regular physical examinations and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are important means of preventing liver cancer.
