Can't patients with thyroid cancer use Huasu tablets?

Huasu tablets are iodine lozenges. Patients with thyroid cancer cannot use Huasu tablets. This may be because Huasu tablets enter the thyroid gland and are released by thyroid tissue, thus affecting the therapeutic effect of the drug and may also cause the thyroid cancer condition to worsen.

1. Affecting the therapeutic effect of drugs: Huasu tablets are mainly used in the clinical treatment of thyroid diseases. They can relieve symptoms such as goiter and thyroid pain. However, after Huasu tablets enter the thyroid tissue, they can release a certain amount of iodine. If the patient lacks thyroid hormones, excessive iodine may inhibit the synthesis and secretion of thyroid hormones, thereby affecting the therapeutic effect of drugs;

2. Cause thyroid enlargement: Due to the disease, patients with thyroid cancer will have varying degrees of thyroid enlargement. Huasu tablets contain iodine, which can stimulate thyroid tissue, so it may cause the enlargement to worsen.

3. Aggravation of thyroid pain: Patients with thyroid cancer may experience thyroid pain due to the disease, and Huasu tablets are irritating. If patients take Huasu tablets, it may stimulate the thyroid area and cause aggravation of pain;

4. Induce allergic reactions: Some patients may experience allergic reactions such as rash, itching, and difficulty breathing after using Huasu tablets, while some patients will not experience the above symptoms after using Huasu tablets. This may be caused by the patients being allergic to the ingredients in Huasu tablets.

After entering the thyroid tissue, Huasu Tablets can release a certain amount of iodine, which can irritate and damage the thyroid tissue, so the use of Huasu Tablets can induce or aggravate thyroid disease. In addition, it is recommended that patients with thyroid cancer take medication under the guidance of a doctor to avoid blindly taking medication on their own to avoid delaying the disease.
