What is the conventional surgery for hemisection of thyroid cancer

Thyroid cancer is a common thyroid malignancy. 3. Other auxiliary treatments: If thyroid cancer does not recur after surgery, the patient can gradually stop taking thyroid hormones. If the thyroid hormones are stopped to an appropriate range, iodine-131 treatment can be used to kill residual thyroid tissue cells and prevent recurrence.

For patients with thyroid cancer, regular postoperative check-ups are particularly important. Patients are advised to eat a light diet after surgery and avoid spicy, irritating, and greasy foods as much as possible. They should also maintain a happy mood, which is conducive to disease recovery. Patients should also undergo regular thyroid function tests after surgery. If abnormal thyroid function is found, it can be treated in time.
