I feel some pain in my lungs. Is it lung cancer?

Some pain in the lungs is not necessarily lung cancer. There are many causes of chest pain, including pneumonia, pleurisy, intercostal neuritis and other non-malignant tumor diseases.

1. Lung cancer

1. Early stage: If the patient has the above symptoms, accompanied by cough, sputum, hemoptysis and other symptoms, it may be an early manifestation of lung cancer. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination in time, and the diagnosis can be confirmed by X-ray examination, CT examination and other methods.

2. Late stage: If the patient's condition is serious and has reached the middle and late stages of lung cancer, he or she will experience obvious symptoms such as dyspnea, chest tightness and shortness of breath. At this time, surgery is required, and radiotherapy and chemotherapy are also needed after surgery to help improve the condition.

2. Not lung cancer

1. Pneumonia: Pneumonia refers to inflammation of the terminal airways, alveoli and lung interstitium, which may be related to bacterial infection. During the onset of the disease, patients may experience symptoms such as fever, cough, and sputum. As the disease progresses, chest pain may also occur. You can follow the doctor's advice to use drugs such as amoxicillin capsules and cefixime capsules for anti-infection treatment.

2. Pleurisy: Pleurisy is an inflammatory reaction in the pleural cavity caused by pathogens, usually manifested by chest pain, chest tightness, cough and other symptoms. It can be treated by taking rifampicin tablets, isoniazid tablets and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor.

3. Intercostal neuritis: Intercostal neuritis is a general term for paroxysmal or persistent pain in the intercostal nerve innervation area caused by various reasons. It can be manifested as acupuncture or burning pain, often distributed in a band. You can take oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, acetaminophen tablets and other drugs as prescribed by your doctor to relieve the symptoms of pain.

In addition, it may also be caused by other diseases, such as tuberculosis, bronchitis, etc., which can also induce the above situation. It is recommended that patients seek medical treatment in time and receive targeted treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
