Why does the skin wrinkle after tattooing

Tattoos are very popular among young people because they look very cool, and some people get tattoos to commemorate certain things or people. However, some people will experience some adverse reactions after getting a tattoo. For example, wrinkled skin is a common phenomenon. People need to pay attention to this situation. The following is a detailed introduction to why the skin becomes wrinkled after getting a tattoo.

This is a normal phenomenon, don't worry. During the tattoo recovery process, the tattooed area will itch, peel and form a thin scab. These are all normal phenomena, but you must not scratch the tattooed area with your hands, otherwise it will affect the color of the tattoo. .

Note:

1. Remove the plastic wrap or gauze 5-7 hours after tattooing, and rinse the tattoo wound with warm water. Do not use soap or bath gel.

2. It is normal for the wound to ooze blood 1-2 days after tattooing. Do not apply external ointment at will and do not touch the wound with your hands.

3. Ensure that the wound is clean and dry. After taking a bath or after extensive exercise, use a dry paper towel to dry the moisture on the surface of the wound.

4. The wound should not be treated with alcohol or iodine. To prevent infection, an appropriate amount of trauma anti-inflammatory drugs can be taken orally.

5. Do not drink alcohol or eat spicy food before the wound heals. Swimming and sauna are prohibited (only warm water can be used for rinsing).

6. If the tattoo is itchy, scabs form, and the skin peels off a few days after the tattoo is completed, do not scratch the wound to avoid discoloration. Wear loose and comfortable clothes.

7. Pay attention to the hygiene of the wound. You must take a shower after getting a tattoo, and you should take a shower every day. But don't rub the skin of the tattoo hard when washing, because the purpose of bathing is to clean the exuded body fluids and residual ointments. However, be careful not to use irritating bath gels, soaps, etc. In addition, the bathing time should not be too long.

You can take a shower, but you should not bathe or swim. (Please don’t avoid taking a shower just because some people say you can’t take a shower within a few days after getting a tattoo. I’m talking about my personal experience. If you don’t take a shower, it will only form a thick scab and the recovery will be slow, which is very uncomfortable.)
