Men with poor sleep should beware of the three major causes of prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the prostate gland of men. It is a serious disease unique to men, and its incidence rate increases with age. Prostate cancer has different incidence rates in different regions and races. Generally speaking, there are more patients in Europe, while there are relatively fewer in my country, which may be related to the local environment.

Researchers conducted a survey of more than 2,000 men and found that about 15% of the respondents had severe insomnia. They often had difficulty falling asleep at night or were easily awakened in the middle of the night. The survey lasted for five years. Five years later, 6.4% of these men developed prostate cancer. This shows that men with poor sleep quality are prone to prostate cancer and need to be vigilant about the disease.

In addition to insomnia increasing the risk of prostate cancer, men also need to be careful about the following three major causes: ① Environmental factors: Heavy metals and radioactive substances in industrial environments are carcinogens, and excessive intake by the human body can induce cancer; ② Dietary factors: Saturated fatty acids are cancer inducers, and large intake of animal fats can lead to the occurrence of prostate cancer: ③ Genetics: About 10% of patients suffer from hereditary prostate cancer.

Patients with prostate cancer will not have obvious symptoms in the early stage, only urination difficulties and prolonged urination, and only a few patients will have hematuria. As the disease progresses, the tumor will metastasize, causing general discomfort, and clinical manifestations such as weight loss, loss of appetite, and renal failure. Patients must go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible, and control the disease through prostatectomy, relieve the patient's pain, and improve the patient's quality of life.

Men need to understand the basic knowledge about prostate cancer, keep the urinary and genital tracts clean, do not hold urine, do not sit for long periods of time, and avoid long-term congestion and swelling of the prostate; at the same time, eat a light diet, try to choose vegetable fats, eat less red meat such as duck and beef, eat more vegetables and fruits, and establish a good eating pattern.
