What are the symptoms of early lung cancer? There are five symptoms of early lung cancer

Lung cancer is a common malignant tumor in my country. Since many patients do not detect the disease in the early stage, it will soon show advanced stage as the disease progresses, thus delaying the best treatment. Below, let us learn in detail about the early symptoms of lung cancer, so that friends can detect the disease early and receive treatment in time.

What are the early symptoms of lung cancer?

1. Cough: It is the most common symptom of early-stage lung cancer patients, and about 2/3 of patients have this symptom. Some are mild dry coughs, while others are severe coughs, with varying amounts of sputum. However, in patients with chronic long-term coughs, once the nature of the cough changes, or the frequency changes or the cough appears at night, be alert to lung cancer. Continuous, uncontrollable coughing is one of the most painful symptoms of lung cancer.

2. Hemoptysis: Clinically, half of lung cancer patients have this symptom. If a smoking man over 40 years old has blood in his sputum, blood streaks or small blood clots, the possibility of lung cancer is quite high. If this symptom occurs, he should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. This is also one of the early symptoms of lung cancer.

3. Chest pain: 30% to 40% of lung cancer patients will experience pulmonary chest pain, which is generally intermittent and mild chest pain. It mainly manifests as dull pain or drilling pain, which can last from several minutes to several hours. If the tumor invades the pleura, the pain will be more severe, continuous and fixed. If chest pain recurs in early lung cancer, the prognosis is poor if the pain recurs later.

4. Fever: Most of the fever of lung cancer is caused by inflammation due to bronchial obstruction and poor drainage caused by the tumor. Early treatment with antibiotics can restore body temperature to normal, but it is easy to relapse. For patients with large tumors, necrosis occurs in the inflammatory center, which often causes a higher body temperature due to the absorption of toxins.

5. Chest tightness and shortness of breath: In addition to tumors blocking the bronchus and causing atelectasis and lung inflammation, chest tightness and shortness of breath are more prominent when there is a large amount of pleural effusion.

Warm reminder: The emergence of lung cancer makes people very worried, because lung cancer is a serious type of malignant tumor. As the disease develops and spreads, it will cause various serious harms to patients. It is best to actively treat it in the early stage, and the chance of recovery is greater. Finally, I wish you good health!
