The difference between memory foam and latex

The difference between memory foam and latex

People's sleep quality is getting worse and worse. At this time, they will want to make their sleep better by choosing the material of the pillow. However, there are more materials nowadays. The most common ones are memory foam and latex. These two materials are completely different, and their service life is also different. However, people can choose the pillow material that really suits them according to their personal needs.

The difference between memory sponge and memory latex is that one is sponge and the other is latex. We won’t even talk about the basic things like different materials and production processes.

In terms of actual performance

• The life span of both is different. Memory foam generally loses its elasticity after about 5 years, while the lifespan of memory latex is nominally 10 years+

• Slow rebound speed varies. Memory foam rebounds slowly, so there will be a process of slowly filling the hole. Memory latex rebounds very quickly and basically fits the body as you turn over.

• The most important support pressure is different. Memory foam’s support and pressure dispersion are not as good as memory latex.

The latter is softer and more comfortable to sleep with, especially for infants whose heads have not yet taken shape. For the general public, it can provide a better sleep quality, except for the uncertain medical effects.

The quality is an indisputable fact. Memory pillow: Because the arc is made according to ergonomics (the neck needs a relatively large support to make the body get the correct balance), the twisting of the bones when lying down and rolling is more appropriately cushioned. If you often fall asleep, switching to a memory pillow usually has excellent improvement effects. Recommendation: Young people and infants should use latex pillows, while the elderly and those with easily injured bones and muscles should use memory pillows.

A memory pillow is a man-made synthetic sponge, a type of sponge. Its scientific name is inert sponge. Its aliases include slow rebound sponge, memory sponge, zero pressure sponge, space memory sponge, smart sponge, etc. Its English name is Memory Foam, and its main ingredient is polyurethane foam plastic. The slow-rebound pillow, also known as the slow-rebound pillow, is a pillow made of slow-rebound material. Its function is not to increase a person's memory but because the pillow, which is often used, will form the inherent shape of the human head and neck. Most memory pillows are slow rebound pillows.
