Lung cancer occurs in the bronchial mucosal epithelium and is also called bronchial cancer. More studies have shown that the incidence of lung cancer is increasing, and the number of people suffering from lung cancer is increasing. Among male cancer patients, lung cancer has taken the first place, while the incidence of female cancer has also increased in recent years. There is no definite cause of lung cancer so far, but more data show that long-term heavy smoking is an important cause of lung cancer. There are many causes of lung cancer, and there is no particularly clear cause at present. More studies have shown that there are three main causes of lung cancer. The first is smoking. Long-term and persistent smoking will stimulate the bronchial epithelium and induce cancer. Smoking is currently considered a high-risk factor for lung cancer because tobacco contains more than about three thousand chemical substances, multi-chain aromatic compounds such as benzophenone; the second is the impact of the environment. Long-term exposure to chromium compounds, coke ovens, mustard gas and asbestos-containing environments will increase the incidence of lung cancer, especially industrial waste gas is a high-risk factor for lung cancer; the third is the influence of radioactive factors. Some harmful industrial gases such as radon gas, decay uranium byproducts, etc., have a higher incidence of lung cancer than other people, but ionizing radiation does not increase the incidence of lung cancer; The symptoms of lung cancer are related to the location of the cancer, its size, and whether it is compressed. Studies have shown that early lung cancer does not produce any symptoms. Most of them are manifested in the chest. When there is a greater pain in the bronchus, it means that the cancer has begun to spread and spread in the larger bronchi. In addition to bronchial pain, advanced lung cancer can also cause paralysis of the ipsilateral diaphragm, leading to hoarseness and vocal cord paralysis. In severe cases, endocrine substances and a large amount of fluid accumulation can also cause shortness of breath. In addition, when the cancer invades the pleura and chest cavity, it can also cause persistent dysphagia. There are two types of lung cancer treatment: Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. Western medicine treatment mainly uses surgery to remove the cancerous part to prevent the spread of cancer. In addition to surgical treatment, there is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is divided into small cell chemotherapy and non-small cell chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can reduce the scope of cancer and dissolve the effusion in the lungs; while traditional Chinese medicine treatment is mainly through the use of Chinese medicine decoction for treatment. The main Chinese medicines are moutan bark, raw earth, northern adenophora, fenugreek and wild chrysanthemum, etc. Compared with Western medicine treatment, this prescription takes longer to achieve the effect, and has the effects of softening and resolving phlegm, detoxifying and dispersing nodules; in addition, there are several Chinese medicine prescriptions that are worth adopting, such as angelica, peach kernel, safflower, Achyranthes bidentata, Trillium and Stemona japonica, etc. |
