How to treat cervical cancer in its early stages? Treatment methods for cervical cancer in its early stages

What are the early treatment methods for cervical cancer? Do you know what the early treatment methods for cervical cancer are like? cnaizheng below is an introduction to "early treatment methods for cervical cancer":

Treatment of early stage cervical cancer:

The principle of early treatment of cervical cancer is to improve the patient's survival rate and quality of life. The trend of treatment is to adopt a comprehensive treatment with multiple means. The treatment of cervical cancer mainly includes surgery, radiotherapy, or surgery plus radiotherapy, supplemented by chemotherapy. Early patients are mainly treated with surgery, while those in the middle and late stages are mainly treated with radiotherapy. Radiotherapy can also be used for early patients who are not suitable for surgery. In recent years, chemotherapy has been carried out at home and abroad as an auxiliary treatment for surgery or radiotherapy, and has achieved certain results.

In principle, surgical treatment is limited to early-stage patients, i.e. patients with carcinoma in situ, stage I and stage IIA. Radiotherapy above stage IIA is the first choice for patients with poor surgical treatment effects. The scope of surgery is determined according to the depth, size, clinical stage, pathological type, cell differentiation and other specific conditions of the lesion. The following different surgical methods are implemented:

① Cervical cone excision;

②Extrafascial hysterectomy extension;

③Extensive total hysterectomy;

④ Extensiveness of total hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection;

⑤Other surgical procedures.

Radiotherapy is suitable for all stages of invasive cervical cancer. It can also be used for patients who are elderly or not suitable for surgery, as well as for early-stage cancer and carcinoma in situ. Standardized radiotherapy for cervical cancer includes external radiotherapy and intracavitary radiotherapy, which form a reasonable dose distribution in the tumor area. Except for a few early cancers, it is generally necessary to combine intracavitary and external radiotherapy to achieve the ideal therapeutic effect and the goal of radical cure. The survival rate of cervical cancer for more than 5 years after treatment is more than 90% in the early stage, about 60% to 70% in the middle stage, and about 11% to 50% in the late stage (stage III and IV).
