Xiaozhen (pseudonym) is a high school student who went to the doctor for vulvar itching. The biopsy result turned out to be cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which is a precancerous lesion of the cervix. When the doctor asked her if she had a boyfriend, she said nonchalantly: "I can't remember how many I have had." Early sexual activity and multiple sexual partners will increase the risk of cancer, so girls are advised to keep clean. Cervical cancer occurs all over the world and is one of the most common cancers in the human body. It not only ranks first among cancers of female reproductive organs, but also is the most common cancer among various malignant tumors in women. Cervical cancer prevention is the most important means to prevent and treat cervical cancer. We need to start from two aspects to prevent cervical cancer. On the one hand, it is the prevention of the cause, and on the other hand, it is the preclinical prevention, namely the "three early" prevention. Secondly, female friends should have a gynecological examination in time, which can also achieve the prevention effect of cervical cancer and detect cervical cancer in time. 1. Prevention of cervical cancer should start with prevention of the cause Although the cause of cervical cancer is not completely clear, many factors are known to be closely related to it, and these factors can be controlled, such as advocating late marriage, prohibiting early marriage and sexual disorder, implementing family planning, strengthening sexual morality and sexual health education, and actively preventing and treating diseases related to cervical cancer. In addition, we should strengthen environmental protection, proper diet, and proper physical exercise to improve physical and mental health and immunity. The concept of cervical cancer etiology prevention must be included in the health education of adults and adolescents, and this education must be taken seriously. It is necessary to emphasize the responsibility of men in reducing the risk of cervical cancer in their sexual partners, and women themselves also have responsibilities. Education for men should also start from adolescence. 2. Preclinical cervical cancer prevention is the "three early" prevention The so-called "three early" means early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment. Its purpose is to prevent the development of the initial disease. The occurrence and development of cervical cancer has a gradual evolution process, which can take from several years to decades. It is generally believed that this evolution process goes through the following stages: hyperplasia, atypical hyperplasia, carcinoma in situ, early invasion, and invasive cancer. Therefore, regular screening of married women in the population, timely diagnosis and treatment of precancerous lesions and early cancers will effectively prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer and reduce its mortality rate. 3. Take preventive measures for cervical cancer according to your own health conditions Early signs of cervical cancer: (1) Increased vaginal discharge, which may have no abnormal odor in the early stage. (2) Abnormal vaginal discharge, which may be mixed with blood and accompanied by a foul smell. (3) Irregular vaginal bleeding, which is often seen in bleeding during sexual intercourse, bleeding after exertion in the lower abdomen, and bleeding after menopause. (4) After the development of cervical cancer, urinary irritation, frequent urination, and blood in the stool may occur. It may also cause pelvic and lower limb pain and lower limb swelling. The following groups should undergo a gynecological cancer prevention examination every 2 to 3 years: those who have sexual intercourse and marriage before the age of 18; those with disordered sexual life, frequent sexual intercourse and sexually transmitted diseases; those who marry early and give birth multiple times; those with cervical inflammation and erosion; those with vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse, vaginal discharge after menopause, especially bloody discharge; those over 35 years old without any symptoms should also undergo regular routine examinations. TCT, colposcopy and cervical biopsy should be performed when necessary. Treatment of precancerous lesions: If cervical erosion and CIN precancerous lesions are found, they should be treated in time. There are many methods for treating cervical precancerous lesions, such as cervical electrocautery, electric baking, freezing, laser treatment, etc. It can also be treated with drugs such as retinoic acid. Choose the appropriate treatment method according to the condition. Parents and teenagers are reminded that the cervical tissue cells of teenage girls have not yet matured and are relatively tender and weak. They are sensitive to external carcinogens and cancer-promoting substances. If they are invaded by HPV (human papillomavirus), they are more likely to get cervical cancer than adults. |
