What causes cervical precancerous lesions

Cervical precancerous lesions can be cured by removing the uterus. Most cervical precancerous lesions are treated with cervical conization. Cervical precancerous lesions are caused by infection with HPV human papillomavirus and can be mild or severe. If mild lesions are not treated in time, they can turn into severe lesions in 3 to 5 years. If severe precancerous lesions are not treated in time, they can develop into cervical cancer in about 5 to 10 years. Active treatment is required after the diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions.
