Does the presence of T1 and T2 signals in the liver indicate cancer? Not necessarily

Liver cysts should be considered. The MR examination report shows multiple nodular and round long T2 signals in the liver, indicating that there are multiple lesions with regular shapes, and the long T2 signals indicate high signals. The white and bright shadows on the film contain water. It is a benign lesion and does not matter much. Follow-up or further enhanced CT or enhanced MR examination can be performed.

It may be multiple liver cysts, which may be related to frequent anger or high stress, quick temper or sulking. If there are no symptoms, you don't need to treat it. You can take some Chinese medicine to soothe the liver and regulate qi, or pay attention to conditioning yourself. Generally, there is no big danger.

In MRI, long T1 and long T2 signal shadows are generally close to water signals, so it is considered to be local edema or cystic changes. MRI has excellent resolution for soft tissues. It is better than CT for the examination of bladder, rectum, uterus, vagina, bones, joints, muscles and other parts. However, it is not better than X-ray or CT for the examination of lungs, and it is not better than CT for the examination of liver, pancreas, adrenal glands and prostate.

Considering the possibility of intrahepatic hemangioma or cyst, it is best to perform an enhanced examination or a puncture biopsy.
