Can liver cancer be cured? There is no complete cure at present

There is currently no way to completely cure liver cancer, but actively choosing surgical resection, liver transplantation, etc. in the early stages of the disease may achieve clinical cure, with a five-year survival rate of 75% to 90%. When the disease progresses to the late stage, only measures can be taken to prolong survival.

With the current medical level, there is no way to completely cure liver cancer, but active treatment in the early stages of liver cancer may achieve clinical cure; if the disease progresses to the late stage, the five-year survival rate with active treatment is less than 5%, and palliative therapy can only be used to prolong survival.
Actively choosing surgical resection of the lesion in the early stage of liver cancer can effectively prolong survival by reducing the residual cancer cells in the body. When the disease develops to the late stage, palliative liver resection can only be taken to prolong survival. It is best to perform adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy after liver cancer surgery to improve the treatment effect; when the liver cancer is serious and cannot be treated surgically, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be selected to kill cancer cells in the body and prolong survival. If there is a suitable liver source, liver transplantation surgery can be selected to restore liver function.
