Early symptoms of testicular cancer

Early symptoms of testicular cancer

The early symptoms of testicular cancer mainly include testicular lumps or swelling, testicular pain or discomfort, groin lumps or swelling, breast enlargement or tenderness, abdominal pain or discomfort, etc.

1. Testicular lumps or swelling: This is the most common early symptom of testicular cancer. Patients may notice a lump in the testicle or feel that the testicle is enlarged. The lump is usually painless, but its size and shape may vary depending on the condition.

2. Testicular pain or discomfort: Some patients may feel pain, heaviness or discomfort in the testicles. This pain may be continuous rather than intermittent, and may be caused by the tumor irritating or compressing the testicular tissue.

3. Groin lumps or swelling: Testicular cancer can sometimes cause swollen lymph nodes in the groin area, which is usually a sign that the tumor has spread to the lymph nodes.

4. Breast enlargement or sensitivity: Testicular cancer may cause increased estrogen levels in the body, which in turn may cause breast enlargement or sensitivity.

5. Abdominal pain or discomfort: In rare cases, testicular cancer may invade or compress the abdominal organs, causing abdominal pain or discomfort.

Other patients may experience symptoms such as a heavy feeling in the scrotum, abnormal lumps, bulges or spots on the surface of the testicles. These early symptoms may not be obvious and are easily ignored, so it is recommended that male friends should pay more attention to their physical condition and seek medical attention in time if any abnormality is found.
