Doctors remind: Some cancers are caused by laziness? Unfortunately, you haven't realized it yet

Bad living habits are the enemy of health. Some people, because of carelessness, often cause diseases due to the long-term accumulation of bad habits. Are you also affected? Rinsing your mouth once can reduce 20% of oral bacteria, and brushing your teeth once can reduce about 70%. Being too lazy to brush your teeth will not only cause ulcers, bleeding gums, and periodontal disease, but also increase the risk of colds and aspiration pneumonia in the elderly. A study by the Japanese Cancer Research Center found that the risk of cancer is 2.5 times higher for people who are too lazy to brush their teeth than for those who brush their teeth twice a day. Brushing your teeth can promptly drive away the residual streptococci in the mouth, thereby reducing the risk of cancer. Brush your teeth twice a day, morning and evening.

1. Bladder cancer caused by not being able to go to the toilet

Many people feel the urge to urinate, but are unwilling to put down their work and go to the toilet only when they can no longer hold it. Studies have shown that this will first damage the bladder sphincter. If urine containing toxic substances cannot be discharged in time, it will cause cystitis and urethritis. Inflammation can also induce nephritis. Researchers have found that people who have the habit of holding urine have a 3-5 times higher risk of bladder cancer.

2. Being too lazy to do laundry can increase your risk of kidney cancer

Lazy people often send their clothes to dry cleaners for cleaning. However, when dry cleaning clothes, a chemical called tetrachloroethylene is used as an active solvent, which is harmful to the human nervous system. Long-term exposure to this poison may increase the risk of kidney cancer. When dry cleaning clothes, this chemical will be absorbed by the fibers of the clothes and released from the clothes when the air dries. However, clothes in dry cleaners are often placed in unventilated rooms, which prevents the tetrachloroethylene from fully evaporating. If you are eager to wear them, you will easily absorb toxic chemicals into your body. Hang the dry-cleaned clothes in a ventilated place to dry for 1 week before wearing them.

3. Being too lazy to turn off the lights can help cancer cells grow

Children who are used to sleeping with the lights on are more likely to develop cancer, because the incidence of childhood leukemia is related to exposure to light at night. Studies have shown that babies aged 4 to 5 months are susceptible to unnatural light, which can disrupt a person's physiological rhythm and inhibit the secretion of melatonin, and a decrease in melatonin is related to the growth of cancer cells.

4. Being too lazy to bask in the sun can lead to a variety of cancers

Harvard University believes that sun exposure can prevent cancer. The skin can only produce vitamin D after being exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Vitamin D can eliminate the blood environment where tumors are formed and prevent colon cancer, prostate cancer, etc. Infants and young children should sunbathe for 15-30 minutes a day, the elderly for 40-60 minutes a day, and other people should go out as much as possible to get sun exposure.

In addition, the World Cancer Fund once released an expert report that warned us that a small amount of excess fat in the body may increase the risk of cancer, but it also pointed out that even a small amount of weight loss can reduce this risk.

Therefore, experts recommend that people get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity (such as brisk walking) every day, not only because activity helps maintain a healthy weight, but there is good evidence that physical activity itself can reduce the risk of cancer.

The 30 minutes of activity per day we mentioned is just a minimum requirement. As the body's adaptability increases, you can do 60 minutes (or more) of moderate physical activity or 30 minutes (or more) of heavy physical activity per day, and avoid sedentary habits such as watching TV and playing computer games. In other words, in order to stay away from various diseases, you should do "as much as possible" physical activity.
