1. Eat at regular times and in regular amounts. Avoid overeating or eating too hot food to avoid irritating or damaging the gastric mucosa.

2. Eat more foods containing vitamins A, B, E and beta-carotene; appropriately increase protein and soy products to enhance resistance.

3. Polluted water contains a variety of carcinogenic metal ions, so be sure to drink tap water or purified water.

4. Many gastric cancer patients are introverted and not good at talking. Chinese medicine believes that depression can easily lead to qi stagnation and blood stasis, which can form cancer.

5. Pickled vegetables contain a lot of nitrite and secondary amines, which can synthesize nitrosamine compounds under the appropriate acidity or bacterial action in the stomach. These compounds are strong carcinogens. Fried, baked, and burnt foods also contain such carcinogens.

6. People with atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer, multiple adenomatous polyps of the stomach, and pernicious anemia need to be checked and treated regularly to eliminate precancerous lesions and prevent gastric cancer. In addition, people with a family history of cancer have a significantly higher incidence rate than the general population.

To prevent the occurrence of gastric cancer, we must pay attention to its early symptoms. Patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms often have upper abdominal discomfort, dull pain in the heart, and a feeling of fullness after eating. As the tumor develops, the upper abdominal pain gradually worsens, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, and even gastrointestinal bleeding caused by cancer infiltration of blood vessels around the stomach. Although it is easy to diagnose at this time, it is already in the late stage and it is difficult to cure. When gastric cancer occurs in the late stage, pyloric obstruction will occur, which is easy to cause vomiting; cardia cancer and high lesser curvature cancer will cause a choking feeling when eating; caused by cancer invasion of the blood vessels of the stomach wall, if the bleeding time is long or the amount of bleeding is large, the patient may have symptoms of iron deficiency anemia.
