How to provide dietary care for patients with hamartoma

Some patients with hamartomas often suffer from recurrent illnesses due to poor diet. This is not only detrimental to the health of the patients, but also more likely to cause the condition to deteriorate further. This is a very bad phenomenon. A reasonable diet is very important for patients with hamartomas, so today we will learn about the dietary care of patients with hamartomas.

Hamartoma refers to a tumor-like deformity caused by the incorrect combination and arrangement of normal tissues in a certain organ of the body during development. Hamartoma can come from many tissues, and is commonly found in the lung (mixed with cartilage islands, bronchial epithelium and glands, localized hyperplasia to form localized or diffuse hamartomas), kidney (angioleiomyolipoma), breast (breast hamartoma formed by breast lobular fat) and infant liver (mesenchymal hamartoma).

After years of detailed and in-depth research on the pathogenesis, combined with modern biomolecular theory, it has finally been concluded that the fundamental cause of the formation of various types of hamartomas is "lipoma factor". There is also a lipoma factor in the patient's body. Under normal circumstances, this lipoma factor is in an inactivated state (inactive state) and will not cause the disease under normal circumstances. However, under the influence of various internal and external environmental factors, the activity of this lipoma factor is in an active state and has a certain activity. When external factors change, coupled with changes in the internal environment of the body, the activity of the lipoma factor is further enhanced, causing abnormal proliferation of normal fat cells, resulting in the deposition of adipose tissue in the smooth muscle tissue of the capillaries, forming a protruding mass of the organs, called a hamartoma.

Patients should pay attention to keeping a good mood and avoid being angry. They should eat more vegetables and fruits in their daily diet, keep their bowels open, and should not eat too much. It is better to eat 70% to 80% full. Eat less beef, mutton, pork, and dog meat, avoid eating greasy and thick food, strong alcohol, and spicy fried food. It is better to eat light and nutritious food. Patients with hamartoma should avoid excessive force when working and doing housework, do not hold heavy objects, and should not do strenuous exercise to avoid increasing abdominal pressure and causing tumor rupture and bleeding. They can often do low-intensity exercises such as long-distance walking, and regularly check kidney B-ultrasound to observe the size of the tumor.
