Care that testicular cancer patients should take

Testicular cancer is a disease that hits men the hardest. Many young patients are afraid that it will affect their future fertility, so they don’t cooperate with treatment. In the end, there are many cases of death due to the deterioration of the disease. In fact, testicular cancer generally does not affect fertility. If the patient knew some common sense of care at the time, there would be no tragedy. So what kind of care should testicular cancer patients do? Let’s learn about it below.

1. In terms of diet, foods grown or raised with hormones are the most dangerous. Foods such as grilled, fried, deep-fried, and overly greasy foods are also the root causes of testicular cancer; foods grown with pesticides and fertilizers should also be avoided. Overnight meals should not be eaten, as they contain carcinogenic nitrites. Root and tuber foods should be eaten more: for example, sweet potatoes and taro grown underground, corn, chestnuts, etc.; white meat is the main meat, followed by red meat: for example, fish is white and pork is red.

2. Keep a regular work and rest schedule and avoid working in polluted air. In addition, stay away from radiation machines: for example, computers, induction cookers, microwave ovens, and mobile phones should be kept away from sleeping areas; stay away from noisy places.

3. Keep a positive mood. Personality has a great impact on the testicles. Because the testicles belong to the endocrine system, personality can easily affect it. Clinical investigations have found that a large number of people with testicular hyperplasia or tumors have negative personalities, are not cheerful, and have long-term depression. You should pay attention to venting your emotions reasonably in life, not suppressing yourself, and being good at thinking about problems positively. For example, take the initiative to seek solutions to problems instead of waiting for them to be solved.

4. Many patients and their families believe that rest is important to promote recovery, so patients usually only care about eating, drinking, and sleeping, and do not participate in sports or go out. "Overprotection" is not a wise move. Patients who stay at home for a long time are prone to mental depression and low mood, which is very unfavorable for recovery. After a certain period of recovery after surgery, you can appropriately participate in some non-tiring sports or cultural and sports activities, such as Tai Chi, health exercises, chess, fishing, etc., participate in normal work and study, and try to integrate into the life of normal people.

5. During the recovery period, many testicular cancer patients strictly restrict their diet and make their diet very narrow. This will lead to malnutrition and loss of appetite in the long run. Or they will take a lot of nutrients such as "soft-shelled turtle" and "tortoise" for a long time. The body cannot keep up with the nutritional supplements, which will also make it difficult to absorb nutrients. In fact, this practice is unnecessary. It must be made clear that except for foods containing carcinogens such as nitrites and aflatoxin, no food has been proven to cause tumor recurrence.

6. Testicular cancer patients must combine Chinese medicine for consolidation after surgery.

Care for testicular cancer must be put on the agenda, because as cancer cells continue to spread, it may affect the patient's life. Therefore, in order to cherish your body and life, you need to strictly abide by the above measures to ensure that the treatment of the disease is carried out in an orderly manner, which is very important for patients.
