In today's society, many people are troubled by glioma. Some people even become hot-tempered and emotionally unstable due to glioma, which further worsens their condition. Some people suffer from headaches and even vomiting, and their vision is weakened due to glioma. Some people also have epileptic seizures due to glioma. So for the above situations, what are the factors that induce glioma? 1. Origin of glioma There is a theory that the cause of tumors is the growth of embryonic remnants of primitive cells into tumors. These remnant cells can cause chronic proliferation due to inflammatory stimulation and form tumors. Multiple gliomas, or gliomatosis, may involve more than one tumor. 2. Genetic Factors There are different reports on the familial incidence of glioma. In the past 20 years, the chromosomes of glioma have been studied and it has been found that most of them have abnormalities in the C group chromosomes, but the causal relationship with glioma is still unclear. 3. Biochemical environment The levels of pigment oxidase, phosphokinase and ATP in glioma cells are lower than those in normal cells, but β-glucuronidase is higher than that in normal brain tissue. LDH is different from that in normal brain tissue due to the high metabolism of tumor tissue. 4. Ionizing Radiation Long-term exposure to radiation environments, such as X-rays, γ-rays, nuclear radiation, etc., will increase the chance of developing brain glioma. 5. Nitroso compounds With the progress of industrialization, this type of compound has become widely present in the environment we live in, especially produced in the process of food processing. 6. Polluted Air It has been confirmed that not only do workers who work in air-polluted environments for a long time have a significantly increased risk of developing brain tumors (intracranial tumors), but their children also have a higher incidence of tumors than other children. These occupations are mainly related to papermaking, milling, handicrafts, printing, chemicals, oil refining and metal smelting, mainly because there are a lot of hydrocarbon compounds in the air. 7. Bad living habits For example, there is certainly not enough evidence to prove that factors such as a preference for certain types of food, drinking, smoking, etc. are related to the occurrence of gliomas, but they have been confirmed to be related to the occurrence of gastrointestinal tumors and lung tumors. 8. Infection Some animal experiments have confirmed that certain infections can induce brain tumors (intracranial tumors), especially infections during pregnancy, which pose a greater threat to the future of the fetus. Warm reminder: Most glioma patients will experience symptoms such as increased intracranial pressure, such as headache, nausea and vomiting, and papilledema. You should pay attention to them and seek timely treatment. |
