What are the causes of bile duct cancer

Understanding the causes of bile duct cancer will help us prevent it. Once some diseases are contracted, they cannot be cured. Biliary duct cancer is a very difficult disease to treat. It is a malignant tumor of the gallbladder and is easy to metastasize and spread, causing physical discomfort to patients. So, what are the causes of bile duct cancer?

1. The causes of bile duct cancer are internal injuries caused by worry and excessive anger, which damage the liver and gallbladder, causing the liver and gallbladder to fail to function properly, causing gallbladder qi to stagnate and liver blood to stagnate, which will eventually form cancer over time.

2. Being fond of fat and alcohol, having a preference for fatty and greasy food, and drinking excessively frequently. Fat can stagnate yang and generate heat, while alcohol can damage yin and turn into heat. Heat evil can accumulate and become toxic, which can attack the gallbladder. The gallbladder toxicity can accumulate and not dissipate, thus causing cancer.

3. The cause of bile duct cancer is the invasion of dampness and external dampness and heat, which invade the gallbladder internally, causing the liver and gallbladder to fail to discharge their functions, resulting in stagnation of gallbladder qi and inability of bile to discharge downward, so that the dampness and heat cannot be eliminated, thus accumulating into poison and eventually causing cancer.

4.5%-10% of patients with bile duct stones will develop bile duct cancer. It is generally believed that the long-term mechanical stimulation of the bile duct wall by hepatobiliary stones and the resulting chronic bile duct infection and cholestasis lead to chronic proliferative inflammation of the bile duct wall, which in turn causes atypical hyperplasia of the bile duct mucosal epithelium. Pathological observations have found that atypical hyperplasia of the bile duct mucosal epithelium can gradually transition into adenocarcinoma.

5. Long-term chronic inflammation is the basis for the occurrence of bile duct cancer, because clinically found that diseases related to bile duct cancer can lead to chronic inflammation of the bile duct. Certain substances in bile (such as metabolites of bile acid) stimulate the bile duct mucosa for a long time, leading to atypical hyperplasia of the epithelium.

The above is an introduction to the causes of bile duct cancer. I believe everyone has a basic understanding of these symptoms. We must also do a good job of prevention and develop good living habits. When these symptoms appear in the body, go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis in time for early detection and early treatment.
