Single-drug chemotherapy for gastric cancer

5-Fluorouracil (5-FU)

Intravenous administration: Once a week: 300 mg/m2 intravenous injection, once a week, 6 times as a cycle, repeat after 3 to 4 weeks, the total amount of treatment course is 7 to 10 g. Continuous 5-day method: 300 mg/m2 added to 500 ml of S% glucose solution intravenously, use for 5 El, repeat every 5 weeks, the total amount is the same as before.

Oral administration: emulsion, dry syrup or injection, 300 mg/m2 per day, divided into 3 times, total amount 10-15 g.

Furofuranfluuracil (furofuran FT-207, ftorafur, tegafur)

Intravenous administration: 400-600 mg/m2, once a day, add 5% glucose solution and inject it intravenously. The total amount is 20-40 g. It is rarely used in China. Oral administration: 100-150 mg/m2 each time, 3 or 4 times a day, the total amount is 40 g.

Rectal administration: fat-soluble matrix suppository, melting point 36.6-37°C, liquefies 36-5 minutes after placement in the rectum, 500 mg per dose, 500-1000 mg per day, once or twice, total amount 20-60 g.

Gastric cancer chemotherapy combination

MFC Solution

MMC 3-4 mg/m2, intravenous pulse injection, 5-FU 300 mg/m2, intravenous injection, AraC 30 mg/m2, intravenous injection. Twice a week for the first two weeks, once a week thereafter, 8-10 times for a course of treatment, or MMC once a week, 5FU and AraC twice a week, 6 weeks for a course of treatment.

UFT is a compound tablet of FT-207, each tablet contains 50mg of FT-207 and 112mg of uracil. The latter has no anti-cancer effect itself, but it can hinder the decomposition and metabolism of 5-Fu in tumor tissue, thus significantly increasing the concentration of 5-Fu in tumor without increasing toxicity. Take orally 3 times a day, 2-3 tablets each time (300mg/m2/d based on FT-207 content), totaling 20-30g.

Fluorouracil (fluuridine, FD.) oral tablets, 50 mg per tablet, each dose 150 mg/m2, 3 times a day, total amount 20 g.

FM Solution

5-FU 300mg/m2, intravenous injection, MMC 6mg/m2, intravenous pulse injection. Once a week, 8 times as a course of treatment, FT-207 can also be taken orally instead of 5-FU, the dose is 533mg/m2 (16mg/kg), divided into 3 times a day, for two months.

UFTM Program

UFT 2-3 tablets/time orally, 3 times a day, MMC 6mg/m, intravenous injection, once a week, 6 times in total, total UFT 30g (calculated as FT-207 content).

FAM Program

5-FU 600 mg/m2 intravenous injection, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th week, ADM 30 mg/m2 intravenous injection, 1st, 5th week, MMC 10 mg/m2 intravenous injection, 1st week.

Chemotherapy has strong toxic side effects and is prone to cause various discomfort symptoms during chemotherapy.
