What are the early diagnosis methods for kidney cancer

What are the early diagnosis methods for kidney cancer? The incidence of kidney cancer is not very high compared with other malignant tumors. However, because kidney cancer is a common renal solid tumor, the cause is not very clear. However, statistics show that it may be related to smoking and genetic factors, especially in men.

Kidney cancer diagnosis can effectively improve the detection rate of kidney cancer, so that patients can receive treatment early and avoid further development of the disease. General examination of kidney cancer is to see whether there are symptoms such as hematuria, polycythemia and progressive anemia. The main ways to diagnose kidney cancer are:
1. X-ray angiography:
X-ray angiography is the main means of diagnosing kidney cancer. Its plain X-ray films can show enlarged kidney shape, changed contours, and occasionally calcification lines around the tumor. Intravenous urography is a routine examination method. When used alone, it cannot distinguish whether the tumor is kidney cancer. Only when combined with ultrasound or CT examination can it have important reference value for diagnosis. Renal artery angiography can detect tumors that are not deformed by urinary system angiography. When the tumor is necrotic or cystic, kidney cancer may not be visible.
2. Ultrasound Scanning:
Ultrasound examination is simple and easy to perform. It can diagnose kidney cancer by the mass-like echoes in the kidney. It does not cause pain or trauma to the examinee and is part of a routine physical examination. Ultrasound scans can detect masses larger than 1 cm in the kidney. Ultrasound has a high sensitivity to tumors, so it can be used as the preferred examination method.
3. CT scan:
CT plays an important role in the diagnosis of renal cancer. It can detect renal cancer that has not caused changes in the renal pelvis and calyces and has no symptoms, and can accurately measure tumor density.
4. Magnetic resonance imaging:
Magnetic resonance imaging is ideal and can identify the extent of renal cancer invasion, the surrounding tissue capsule, and especially the presence of tumor thrombi in the renal vein and inferior vena cava and lymph node metastasis.
