How to prevent skin cancer yourself

How to prevent skin cancer yourself

To prevent skin cancer, we must pay attention to the details of our diet and life. A simpler way to prevent skin cancer is to eat alkaline foods to prevent the accumulation of acidic waste in the body. Acidified body fluid environment is the soil for normal cells to become cancerous, and it is necessary to adjust the acid-base balance of body fluids. Skin cancer is related to long-term exposure to sunlight, X-rays and thermal radiation, frequent contact with chemicals such as petroleum, arsenic, asphalt, tar, and long-lasting ulcers.

Skin cancer prevention can be carried out from the following points:

1. Pay attention to sun protection all year round. Be careful to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Ultraviolet radiation can induce skin cancer. Data show that outdoor workers are much more likely to develop skin cancer than indoor workers. Ultraviolet rays can penetrate the surface of the skin and damage deep skin cells, triggering the growth of cancer cells. Long-term sunburn or weak natural repair ability can easily cause mutations in human cells, which may lead to skin cancer. Therefore, when you are outdoors, you should protect your skin well, such as applying sunscreen, sun hats, and clothes to cover your skin, etc.

Second, enhance self-protection awareness. Whether in daily life or work, try to avoid long-term contact with harmful, carcinogenic chemicals such as asphalt, tar, arsenic, benzopyrene, etc. Because people who need to be exposed to harmful substances for a long time at work must have good labor protection. Skin cancer prevention work mainly focuses on strengthening cancer prevention education and regular census for high-risk groups of occupational poisoning.

3. Pay attention to ionizing radiation: mainly for radiation workers. Avoid long-term contact with various rays and chemical poisons, pay attention to timely diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory or ulcerative skin lesions, early detection and early treatment, and pay attention to it mentally.

4. Actively treat chronic skin diseases, such as ulcers, inflammation, burn scars, seborrheic keratosis, solar keratosis, white spots on the skin, etc. People with precancerous lesions such as actinic keratosis and xeroderma pigmentosum should receive treatment as soon as possible to nip skin cancer in the bud.

5. Strengthen physical exercise. Improve the patient's overall physical quality. Improving immunity can effectively fight the occurrence of diseases. Keep the skin clean to prevent infection.

Studies have shown that there is a close link between excessive sun exposure in childhood and skin cancer in adulthood. The incidence of skin cancer in my country is very low, but it is one of the most common malignant tumors in the white race. In summary, the prevention of skin cancer should start from childhood and pay attention to details, avoiding the adverse effects of sunlight and the external environment on the skin.
