It often occurs on the skin, mucous membranes, and the junction of skin and mucous membranes in the head, neck, limbs, and trunk. Ulcers can form in the early stage, and the growth is invasive. When it penetrates into deep tissues, it is often accompanied by purulent infection and lymph node metastasis. It is easy to evolve on the basis of xeroderma pigmentosum and senile keratosis.
Symptoms of squamous cell carcinoma of skin cancer: wart-like nodules appear on the skin at first, with a hard base and dark red surface. The keratin is not easy to peel off, and it bleeds easily when peeled off forcefully. Then the center breaks and forms an ulcer, and the edges are bulging and congested. Basal cell carcinoma is more common in patients over 40 years old, and is prone to occur in the forehead, eye sockets, eyelids, nose, and around the ears. It is less malignant and grows very slowly. It is very common for the course of the disease to exceed 10 to 20 years. At the beginning, it is mostly a small thickened piece, which gradually bulges and infiltrates around, and rarely metastasizes. Squamous cell carcinoma is more common in patients over 50 years old.
