Scalp tumor removal

Scalp tumor removal

Scalp tumor resection can be used to treat subcutaneous hematoma, subperiosteal abscess and subgaleal abscess. A comprehensive preoperative examination is required before the operation, and a coagulation function test is also required to avoid accidents during the operation.

1. Subcutaneous hematoma: It usually refers to the appearance of lumps in the skin and abnormal tissue on the surface of the scalp, which will cause bulges on the skin. It is necessary to go to the hospital for an X-ray examination in time to observe the situation under the skin. After the examination, the subcutaneous hematoma can be removed surgically to reduce the stimulation to the tissues inside the brain.

2. Subperiosteal abscess: It is mainly caused by deformation of the skull and fracture due to external impact, and may even cause the patient to fall into a coma. It is necessary to go to the hospital for a head CT scan in time, which can be used to observe the condition of the scalp. After the examination, the scalp tumor can be removed. After the operation, proper bed rest is required, and the patient's breathing condition needs to be observed in the intensive care unit to avoid abnormalities.

3. Subgaleal abscess: It is usually caused by the rupture of an artery or a blood vessel, which will cause a lump to appear on the skin surface. You need to go to the hospital for visual examination and laboratory tests. After the examination, the blood clot inside can be removed through minimally invasive surgery. At the same time, the ruptured blood vessels need to be adjusted accordingly to avoid increased bleeding.
