Ultrasound diagnostic manifestations of renal cancer

Ultrasound diagnostic manifestations of renal cancer

The ultrasound manifestations of renal cancer were analyzed to improve the diagnostic level of renal cancer. Methods The preoperative ultrasound diagnostic data of 30 cases of renal cancer confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results The sonographic manifestations of renal cancer were diverse, with heterogeneous low- to medium-echo lesions being the most common, and the ultrasound diagnosis was highly consistent.

Ultrasound examination has a high diagnostic value for renal cancer, but the understanding of cystic renal cancer needs to be strengthened to improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis of cystic renal cancer.

The value of ultrasound in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of cystic renal carcinoma. Methods The sonographic features of 29 lesions in 27 patients confirmed by surgery and pathology for cystic renal carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. Results The ultrasound manifestations of cystic renal carcinoma were as follows: 14 cases and 15 lesions had irregular thickening of the cyst wall or septum, of which one case had thickened cyst wall and septum with diffuse uneven calcification. Two cases had thin and regular cyst wall, which were misdiagnosed as renal cysts by ultrasound. One case had relatively regular cyst wall and most septa, which were misdiagnosed as multilocular renal cysts by ultrasound. Ten cases had 11 lesions with wall nodules or septal nodules, of which only one case had multiple small cystic changes in the wall nodules. In 14 cases, the cyst cavity had poor sonography, with fine dot-like weak echoes and inhomogeneous sheet-like high echoes. Color Doppler showed that most of the thickened cyst wall, septa and solid parts could detect arterial blood flow signals. Conclusion Ultrasound is helpful for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of cystic renal carcinoma, and can provide an important reference for early clinical treatment.

The ultrasound manifestations of renal cancer, especially the sonographic features of cystic renal cancer, are used to improve the diagnosis of renal cancer by ultrasound. Methods The preoperative ultrasound diagnostic data of 37 cases of renal cancer confirmed by surgery and anatomical examination were retrospectively analyzed. Results The sonographic manifestations of renal cancer are diverse. Among the 37 cases, heterogeneous low- to medium-echo lesions are the most common. There are 12 cases, accounting for only 4 cases with relatively uniform echoes; 10 cases of mixed echo lesions; 5 cases of cystic lesions, accounting for 3 cases of multilocular cysts and 2 cases of unilocular cysts. The ultrasound diagnosis coincidence rate. Among them, 1 case was misdiagnosed as hamartoma, 1 case was misdiagnosed as cyst with hemorrhage, and 1 case was misdiagnosed as simple cyst. Conclusion Ultrasound examination has a high diagnostic value for renal cancer, but the understanding of cystic renal cancer needs to be strengthened to improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis of cystic renal cancer.

The ultrasound manifestations and characteristics of renal carcinoma and its value in differential diagnosis of renal tumors were evaluated. Methods: The sonographic images and color flow images of 56 cases of renal cell carcinoma confirmed by renal pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The ultrasound manifestations of renal cell carcinoma are mostly clear-cut, with low or equal echoes. Conclusion: Renal carcinoma is a common urinary tract tumor. Ultrasound examination is simple and non-invasive, and can detect small renal cancers at an early stage.
