Can color Doppler ultrasound detect kidney cancer?

(1) General examination: When cancer invades the renal pelvis and calyx, urine routine examination will show varying numbers of red blood cells; however, even if the urine routine is completely normal, it cannot rule out kidney tumors.
(2) X-ray examination is a very important method for diagnosing kidney tumors. In particular, with the continuous updating of equipment technology, the accuracy of X-ray examination has also been significantly improved.
1) Urinary tract plain film: On the plain film, the patient's affected kidney shadow is irregularly enlarged, the psoas muscle shadow is blurred, and calcification is visible in or around the renal mass in 10% of cases.
2) Pyelography: Intravenous pyelography or retrograde pyelography is the most basic method for diagnosing kidney tumors.
3) Abdominal aortorenal artery angiography: It is an important means for early diagnosis and qualitative diagnosis of renal tumors.
4) Inferior vena cava angiography: 5%~15% of renal cancers have tumor thrombi in the veins. Angiography can help determine whether there are tumor thrombi in the inferior vena cava and renal veins, and whether the inferior vena cava is compressed and infiltrated by the tumor.
