Can I have children after my bone cancer is cured?

Having a healthy and lovely child is the biggest wish of every female friend, but sometimes the reality is cruel. Due to environmental, food problems and bad living habits, many women suffer from various diseases, which affect the patients' fertility, such as cancer. Cancer is a malignant tumor that is very easy to recur. Many patients will still relapse after surgery and radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Therefore, if everyone wants to live a healthy life, they must start by changing bad living habits and stay away from the harm caused by cancer.

You cannot have children immediately after a bone marrow transplant for bone cancer because cancer is a systemic disease and cancer cells are very resilient. Even after a bone marrow transplant, there is no guarantee that the disease will not recur. Once suitable triggers appear, cancer cells will reappear.
Many bone cancer patients feel safe after undergoing a bone marrow transplant and will consider having children. In fact, this is a very bad idea. Currently, there is no method that can completely eliminate cancer cells. If you become pregnant at this time, once the cancer recurs, it will cause great harm to both the adult and the fetus.
Bone cancer patients must not be careless after surgery. They should do a good job of daily preventive work, eat a healthy and nutritious diet, be energetic, be in a good mood, and face life positively and optimistically. In addition, they can appropriately carry out some simple activities to enhance the body's resistance and recover health faster.
Bone cancer patients should also go to the hospital for regular checkups after surgery to keep abreast of the disease's progress and prevent it from happening again. If no cancer cells appear within the 5-year survival period, they can consider having children under the guidance of a doctor.
