1. Urinary system symptoms: Urinary system symptoms are caused by the tumor growing to a certain extent or infiltrating the urethra, bladder neck, etc., such as frequent urination, urgency, slow urinary flow, interrupted urinary flow, incomplete urination, and even urinary retention or incontinence. Hematuria is rare, and pyuria may be seen when there is concurrent infection.

2. Symptoms of metastatic lesions: Lymph node metastasis and compression may cause lower limb edema; bone metastasis may cause bone pain, pathological fractures, and spinal cord compression nerve symptoms.

3. Nonspecific symptoms: These symptoms appear in the late stage and are not specific to prostate cancer, such as anemia, weakness, difficulty in defecation, oliguria or anuria, etc. A small number of patients seek medical treatment for metastatic symptoms without obvious primary symptoms of prostate cancer.

4. Obstructive symptoms: Urinary tract obstruction is a common symptom of advanced prostate cancer. The tumor gradually enlarges and compresses the urethra, which can cause obstruction, leading to progressive dysuria, thinning or deviated urine flow, or bifurcated urine flow, prolonged urination, frequent urination, urgency, pain, a feeling of incomplete urination, etc. In severe cases, urine dripping and urine retention may occur.

5. Pain: When the cancer metastasizes, invades the nerves, or there is hydronephrosis or infection, cancer pain may occur, usually in the waist, sacrum, buttocks, hip pain, pelvis, etc. Pain is one of the main symptoms of late prostate cancer, with an incidence rate of nearly one-third.

6. Systemic symptoms: In the late stage of prostate cancer, there may also be systemic symptoms such as weight loss, fatigue, low fever, progressive anemia, etc. In severe cases, cachexia or renal failure may also occur.
