Is autologous fat rhinoplasty permanent?

Nowadays, many people choose autologous fat rhinoplasty, which is to put the excess fat and fat in our body on the bridge of our nose. The nose looks more natural and has relatively small side effects. However, this surgery has a certain shelf life, so after the shelf life, the prosthesis needs to be removed. So is autologous fat rhinoplasty permanent?

Rhinoplasty should be a relatively simple operation, but as long as it is an operation, there will be failures. Revision surgery is often required when the postoperative shape and height are inappropriate, the inserted prosthesis is skewed or translucent, there are skin changes or obvious surgical marks. Failed rhinoplasty revision surgery refers to a surgery that improves the appearance of the nose by filling the nose with autologous, allogeneic tissue or tissue substitutes to raise the external nose. There are two types of incisions for rhinoplasty surgery: columella incision and endonasal incision. Intranasal incision (close to the columella) is commonly used because the incision is concealed and no trace can be seen on the outside. The technology of rhinoplasty is becoming more and more mature, but failure is inevitable. When rhinoplasty fails, or when you feel that your nose is not good-looking after the surgery, you can improve it through rhinoplasty repair surgery. Because this failed rhinoplasty repair surgery is designed to help you improve the damage caused by failed rhinoplasty and restore the beauty of your nose.
