Methods of treating prostate cancer with traditional Chinese medicine

(2) Liver and kidney yin deficiency type: The disease enters the middle stage, with urination difficulties, thinning urine flow, urination pain, progressive aggravation, hematuria, lumbar and lower abdominal pain, dizziness, tinnitus, dry mouth, irritability, insomnia, night sweats, dry stool, red tongue, less coating, and thin pulse. Treatment should be to nourish yin, reduce fire, detoxify and disperse nodules.
Prescription: Modified prescription for strengthening the body and resisting cancer: Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, Herba Ecliptae, Dioscorea Opposita, Fructus Lycii, Fructus Corni, Rehmanniae Preparata, Poria, Astragalus, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis, Smilax glabra, Sargassum, Kelp.
(3) Qi and blood deficiency type: In the late stage of the disease, patients are tired, short of breath, pale complexion, poor appetite, edema, urinary pain and retention, hematuria and septicemia, pain in the lumbar region radiating to both lower limbs, pale tongue, thin white fur, and deep, thready and weak pulse. Treatment should be aimed at replenishing Qi and blood.
Prescription: Shiquan Dabu Decoction with modifications: ginseng, poria, atractylodes, licorice, radix rehmanniae, angelica, ligusticum chuanxiong, red peony root, cinnamon bark, and jujubes.
