What are the typical symptoms of skin cancer

As for skin cancer, everyone knows that this disease will not only harm the patient's physical health, but also bring a certain psychological burden to the patient. So what are the typical symptoms of skin cancer? In order to allow everyone to detect this disease in time, our skin experts will introduce the common symptoms of this disease to patients.

1. Basal cell carcinoma: It starts as a soybean-sized pimple on the skin, with a relatively hard texture, slightly raised edges and a slightly sunken center. It usually occurs alone, and is prone to occur on the cheeks, bridge of the nose and sides of the nose. The tumor is painless and itchy, and there is often no conscious discomfort, so it is often not noticed by the elderly. However, if it is not treated, the tumor will slowly increase in size, and it is easy to rupture and bleed when touched. Although basal cell carcinoma is malignant, it generally grows very slowly and generally does not metastasize.
2. Squamous cell carcinoma: This type of cancer is different from basal cell carcinoma. Patients with squamous cell carcinoma often have poor skin conditions. For example, due to frequent exposure to strong sunlight, the skin is obviously aged, with thick and rough skin texture and surface. Some patients may have solar keratosis. Another example is that some patients have had tumors and received radiotherapy before, which caused their skin to shrink and become thinner with red blood streaks. On this basis, squamous cell carcinoma is easy to grow. Squamous cell carcinoma is a tumor that is higher than the skin. It is usually meat-like in color, is more likely to bleed, and grows faster. The center of the tumor often breaks down into an ulcer, and sometimes there is some infection and odor. Squamous cell carcinoma is more malignant and more likely to metastasize.
