What causes lymphoma

What causes lymphoma

The incidence of lymphoma in my country is increasing day by day, and young people are gradually included in the scope of the disease. The damage caused by lymphoma to the patient's appearance and internal organs is proportional, which is a great blow to the patient. The presence of lymph nodes affects the patient's appearance and thus affects the patient's life. Next, let's take a look at the causes of lymphoma.

1. People who are frequently exposed to various radiations have a high risk of developing lymphoma.

2. Environmental pollution. Such factors include excessive exposure to organic solvent dyes such as hair dyes, living or working in newly renovated houses with large amounts of toxic and hazardous chemicals, frequent inhalation of automobile exhaust, living and working around electronic waste, and long-term exposure to pesticides and other chemicals.

3. Viral and bacterial infections For example, gastric lymphoma is related to Helicobacter pylori infection. In addition, Epstein-Barr virus, human T-cell lymphoma/leukemia virus, and hepatitis virus are all related to the onset of lymphoma.

4. High work pressure. The onset of lymphoma is closely related to the immune function of the human body. If a person has high work pressure for a long time, it will lead to mental tension, psychological pressure, irregular life and work schedule, which will make the person very tired and cause the body's resistance to decline, which will also induce lymphoma.

There are some early "signals" of lymphoma that require our special attention and attention. Swollen lymph nodes are one of the early "signals" of lymphoma. Swollen lymph nodes are mostly in superficial parts of the body, such as under the ears, neck, armpits, groin, etc., especially when they appear in clusters. Patients who are diagnosed with lymph node tuberculosis or chronic lymphadenitis and who have poor results with regular anti-tuberculosis and anti-inflammatory treatments or whose condition often recurs should be alert to misdiagnosis of lymphoma.

In addition, people who have had a fever for two consecutive weeks should also be careful, because the typical symptoms of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are fever, night sweats, cough, shortness of breath, itchy skin and other cold-like symptoms, which can easily lead to misdiagnosis and mistreatment of lymphoma. Therefore, if you have fever, sweating, cough and other cold-like symptoms more than twice in a month, and the temperature is usually above 38℃ during the fever, you should first consider screening for lymphoma.

The key points of the investigation are:

Check for swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin, etc., do a chest CT scan, and an ultrasound to check for enlargement or lumps in the liver and spleen, and also do a blood routine check.

The above is an introduction to the causes of lymphoma. The symptoms of lymphoma are relatively obvious. If you pay more attention, you will easily notice it. This is a blessing in disguise for patients. I hope everyone can find it and treat it as soon as possible.
