Biochemical examination of esophageal cancer

Biochemical examination of esophageal cancer

This method is relatively simple and does not cause much pain to patients in the relevant examinations for esophageal cancer. It is the primary method for early diagnosis of esophageal cancer. Esophageal exfoliative cytology examination can be used for large-scale surveys in areas with a high incidence of esophageal cancer. It has a low false positive rate and a high overall positive rate.

Less harm to patients. In modern times, esophageal cancer has become a common marginal disease. No matter how careful you are, you are likely to be infected accidentally, and it will cause great pain to the patient. The reason why it is considered a common disease is that its sources of infection are diverse, and it is extremely difficult to take targeted prevention measures. If you want to avoid it, you can only conduct regular esophageal cancer examinations to minimize the possibility of contracting the disease.

1. Esophageal exfoliative cytology examination.

This method is relatively simple and does not cause much pain to patients in the relevant examinations for esophageal cancer. It is the primary method for early diagnosis of esophageal cancer. Esophageal exfoliated cytology examination can be used for large-scale surveys in areas with a high incidence of esophageal cancer. It has a low false positive rate and a high overall positive rate. It is less harmful to patients.

2. X-ray barium meal radiography.

This method is a bit more complicated than the previous one, but it can more accurately detect the location of the cancer. The patient needs to swallow barium, which can be observed from all angles to find out the state of the esophageal mucosa and the edge of the esophagus. This method can also detect earlier cancers and is a more accurate method for esophageal cancer examinations.

3. Chest CT scan.

Chest CT scan is helpful in the diagnosis and estimation of esophageal cancer. Intraesophageal ultrasound endoscopic examination can accurately measure the depth of lesions infiltrating the esophageal wall, the enlargement of extraesophageal lymph nodes, and can easily distinguish the specific location of lesions in the esophagus. It is one of the reliable methods for examining upper gastrointestinal diseases.

Regular esophageal cancer testing plays a key role in preventing esophageal cancer. It is safest and most stable to remove it before it grows out completely. This is the most reliable way to prevent esophageal cancer, and only in this way can the possibility of recurrence be minimized.
